During what has been a turbulent year in many ways – the ongoing impact of the pandemic and escalating labour shortages caused by Brexit, to name a few challenges – we are delighted to be able to enhance our service delivery capabilities with two senior appointments.
Our new team members will strengthen our management team and enable us to build on the Tudor Group’s existing experience and knowledge, and outstanding service delivery. The new additions to our team will allow us to continue to maintain the high standards of service our portfolio of customers has come to expect of us as the company continues to grow.
Ben Cadd, Group SHEQ Manage
Ben joined the Tudor Group in June 2021, and is an accomplished NEBOSH qualified Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance professional, with a wealth of experience gained throughout his fifteen-year career.
Ben’s extensive experience in maintaining Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety standards will be a valuable addition in providing reassurance to our customers that we are committed to minimising risk. Ensuring that our safety policies are not only in place, but that they are being put into practice thoroughly by the teams on site is a large part of Ben’s role.
Working closely with HR to train and manage our workforce, Ben’s responsibilities include regularly reviewing our window cleaning operatives working at height to ensure they have the correct accreditations, IPAF and IRATA. Ben maintains our policies and procedures that back this up – for instance, training records for working at height, COSHH assessments, manual handling and PPE. Ben also works with our HR team to onboard employees and ensures a well-informed induction process is completed.
To help better support our customers and to maintain our high levels of delivery, we have made investment into two key areas:
- MY Compliance, which allows us to manage our SHEQ Management system, including policies and procedures, RAMs, accidents, incidents and near misses, assets and internal audits, in one place.
- BigChange, our workforce management system which allows us to schedule work in efficiently as well as allowing our operatives to review the relevant RAMs before work commences and record all their vehicle checks.
Ben ensures that relevant information is clear, concise, and available for our customers, commenting: “We are already beginning to see the benefits of the new software and have had lots of positive feedback from customers.
“We are committed to continuously improving Health and Safety standards, utilising our ISO 45001 Safety Management System to ensure we are operating with safety as priority. These platforms help us to capture necessary training requirements for our employees and contribute to the high standards that we uphold as an organisation. I’m delighted to have joined the team at such an exciting time”.
Jamie Farrell, Window Cleaning Manager
Jamie joins the Tudor Group having held a number of operational roles within the window cleaning and specialist cleaning industry across a twenty-year career.
Just a few weeks into his new role, Jamie’s responsibilities will include managing our team of twenty-seven window cleaning operatives, from recruitment and onboarding to training and on-site safety checks.
Jamie will be involved in each project from the quotation stage right through to delivery. Having worked alongside Ben to prepare the RAMS, Jamie will then be responsible for briefing the team and ensuring all jobs are completed on time. Regular site visits and good communication with both the on-site teams and our customers are crucial for keeping jobs on schedule, and with over two decades of experience in commercial and industrial window cleaning, Jamie is perfectly placed to deliver this.
Jamie comments: “I’m thrilled to have joined the Tudor Group and I’m looking forward to growing with the business as it goes from strength to strength. The Tudor Group has established a great reputation for high standards, our teams are professional and well-mannered and go the extra mile to ensure each job is completed safely and to the highest possible level. The company has a strong work ethic and I’m proud to be part of that”.
Fabien Caqueret, Managing Director at Tudor Group, adds: “I’m very proud of everyone in the team and the reputation we have established. Our ability to deliver a broad range of services, from windows and facades to commercial and industrial cleaning, has been strengthened with our recent appointments. As key members of the senior management team, Jamie and Ben are committed to leading, inspiring and creating a sustainable culture of service excellence within our portfolio of customers”.
